MICHAEL D. HUELS

Mr. Huels is a partner of Bansley and Kiener and head of the firm's Financial Institutions Department.   Mr. Huels has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree from Christian Brothers University ( Memphis ), is a certified public accountant ( Illinois ) and is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois .   Mr. Huels joined Bansley and Kiener 26 years ago.

Mr. Huels has many years of experience with banks, savings and loans, credit unions, employee benefit plans, public employee retirement plans, tax-exempt, non-profit and regulated organizations dealing with the U.S. Comptroller of Currency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of Thrift Supervision, Illinois Commissioner of Banks, National Credit Union Association, Illinois Department of Financial Institutions, Securities and Exchange Commission, etc. as well as a wide spectrum of industrial and commercial clients in the auditing and income tax areas.

Mr. Huels is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois C.P.A. Society, the Government Finance Officers Association, the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association, and various other civic, religious and professional organizations.
