Virginia A. Powell (Ginger) graduated from Washburn University in 1979.  Prior to forming Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A. in 1989, Ginger was a Senior Manager in the predecessor firm of KPMG – Peat Marwick Main & Co. where she served in that firm’s audit and tax practice. 

Ginger is the Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A. shareholder charged with the Firm’s management.  She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is past President of the Northeast Kansas Chapter of the KSCPA.

Ginger is currently Chairman of the Kansas State Board of Accountancy, a member of the Board of Directors of the Helping Hands Humane Society, past President of the Volunteer Center, a member of the Board of Directors of the Top of the Tower, a member of the Downtown Topeka Rotary Club, a member of the Capper Foundation Advisory Council, and on the Operations Committee of the Capper Foundation.
