Theresa A. Young (Terry) graduated from Emporia State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree.  Prior to joining Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A., Terry was a Supervisor in the predecessor firm of KPMG - Peat Marwick Main & Co. where she served in that firm's tax practice.  She became a shareholder with Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A. in 1997.

Terry is the Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A. shareholder charged with the responsibility of the Firm's financial planning and consulting practice.  She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Kansas, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is past President of the Northeast Kansas Chapter of the KSCPA.  

Terry is on the Board of Trustees of the Capper Foundation, the Topeka Performing Arts Center, Hayden High School Foundation and is on the Finance Committee for Family Service and Guidance Center.
