Willis D. Walker, CPA, is a shareholder of Brock and Company CPAs PC. He has over thirty years of experience in all phases of public accounting. Launching his career as a CPA for Ernst & Ernst and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company for eight years, Willis then worked for three years as Assistant Controller at the Central Bank of Denver before becoming President and shareholder of Walker, Unruh & Lippa PC. After seventeen years, he then merged his practice with Brock and Company in 1996.
Mr. Walker has provided the following services to a variety of clients: auditing and budgeting (including employee benefit plans and not-for-profit organizations), financing of operations, projection of income and cash flow, analysis of lost business income for insurance claims, and analysis/development of internal accounting controls. He also specializes in cost control analysis, investment analysis, financial/tax planning and tax compliance. Additionally, Willis has been an expert witness in court hearings and performed personnel evaluation and training.
Willis graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri with a BA in Accounting in 1968. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Western Pension and Benefits Conference. Willis is actively involved with both the Denver and South Metro Chambers of Commerce and serves on the Colorado Business Bank of Littleton’s Advisory Board.
