Current Openings

Tax Senior:  Assume responsibility for tax functions within the firm, under the supervision of the tax partner.

  • Be responsible for the review and/or preparation of tax returns prepared by the firm including 1120, 1065, 990, state corporate, 1040, Philadelphia business tax as designated by the tax partner.
  • Review corporate tax workpaper computations prior to issuance of interim and annual audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements (workpaper 38 series) as designated by the tax partner.
  • Assist in handling tax audits by IRS on 1120, 990, 1040, 1041 and 5500 of firm’s clientele.
  • Do tax research for firm when requested by tax partner.
  • Maintain client servicing responsibilities as time permits.
  • Do individual and corporate tax return projections as requested in conjunction with overall tax planning.
  • Be responsible with the tax partner for tax education and interpretation to rest of firm personnel via staff meeting, staff memos, in-house training sessions, in all areas of federal, state and local taxation.

Requisites for Tax Senior position:  Accounting Degree, CPA.  Experience with Prosystem FX, CCH online tax research, a plus.
