Chuck has been involved in the management and major policy-setting aspects of our Firm as a member of the Management Committee. In addition, as Technology Partner, he has taken a lead role in the Firm’s developmental activities and is in charge of all scheduling.
Chuck joined the Firm in 1977, after gaining experience with another local CPA firm and the Office of Management and Budget for the City of Cleveland. He specializes in consulting to the trucking industry, professional service organizations, federal government contract procurement, and not-for-profit organization accounting. Chuck's considerable depth of experience in corporate retirement plans enables him to identify tax and non-tax planning opportunities for our clients. He is a member of the Firm’s Estate Planning Committee, the AICPA, and the Ohio Society of Certified Professional Accountants. He lends his financial advice to community organizations, and devotes time to numerous area civic and charitable organizations. Chuck is currently an officer and member of the Executive Committee of Lakewood Catholic Academy. He is also a member of the Catawba Island Club.
Chuck graduated from Cleveland State University in 1975 and became a CPA in 1978. He was admitted to partnership at Walthall, Drake & Wallace LLP in 1985. Chuck recently earned the designation of Certified Information Technology Professional from the AICPA.
Chuck and his wife Sue, a real estate agent, reside in Westlake. Their daughter, Angie, lives in California, while son Chip is in Florida (great vacation spots!) Both are graduates of the University of Dayton, with physical therapy degrees. Chuck is a model train enthusiast and enjoys all sports.
