Paul has a strong background in both public accounting and industry.  After obtaining 6 years of experience in public accounting, in 1980 he left for accounting positions in industry (including 13 years as controller of a medium size manufacturer of consumer products.)  While being employed in industry, he also developed expertise in standard costing and budgeting.  Paul joined Walthall, Drake & Wallace LLP in 1998 and has focused on partnership and corporate taxation.  He is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Manufacturing groups.

Paul received his accounting degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Illinois in 1974 and 1975, respectively, and received his CPA certificate in 1977.  He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Paul’s many years of experience as a controller of a local manufacturing company has provided him with practical knowledge and insight in the delivery of professional accounting services.

Paul lives in University Heights.  He enjoys running and cycling and competes in local triathlon and running races.
