Paul is a manager who began with Walthall, Drake & Wallace LLP in January of 1999.  Paul is responsible for engagement planning and supervision, staff training, and business development.

Paul=s expertise encompasses a variety of accounting services.  Paul has performed numerous consulting projects and business valuations and has conducted engagements in corporate, partnership and individual financial and tax planning.  Paul’s knowledge and experience provide closely-held business owners with the necessary advice to achieve their business and personal goals.  In addition to performing audits, reviews and compilations, his experience also includes financial forecasts and projections and cash flow analysis. Paul is active in the firm's business valuation practice. As a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Paul understands the elements of a business and the essential requisites in achieving their maximum value.

Paul=s practice focuses on a broad range of industries with a significant portion of time devoted to service organizations, construction, real estate, manufacturing industries and the audits of employee benefit plans.

Paul is active in numerous professional organizations and committees.  Paul is a member of the firm”s Construction Industry Group, Real Estate Group, Business Valuation Group, Employee Benefit Group, and Technology Committee.  As a committee member of the Practice Development Group, he is responsible for envisioning and implementing firm marketing strategies as well as bettering the internal operations of the firm. Paul is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and the Ohio Contractor”s Association (OCA).  Paul also sits on the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Young Leadership Board.

Paul graduated in 1998 from Cleveland State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting and a focus in computer information systems.  Paul and his family reside in Westlake.  Paul enjoys activities such as golf, cycling, running and other various activities.
