Don Marshall is the firm’s audit and accounting department director and continuing education director.  Don’s experience includes in-charge audit and consulting responsibilities for not-for-profit entities, government contractors, federal government agencies, and construction contractors, among others.  He has been appointed to the Peer Review Committee of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and is the Chairman of Polaris International’s Not-for-Profit Task Force.

He has extensive experience in the areas of not-for-profit taxation and grant compliance, and the accounting requirements of government contractors.  He also recently passed the examination for certification as a business valuation expert.  He is a member of the Association of Fraud Examiners, Association of Government Accountants, American Society of Association Executives, Greater Washington Society of Association Executives, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Don is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified Government Financial Manager.  He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and received his MBA in Finance from George Washington University.
