Walter Pennington is managing director of the firm and has overall responsibility for the firm's litigation support services. As a part of his litigation support services, Walter has qualified as an expert witness in the Circuit Courts of Montgomery and Howard Counties, Maryland and in the D.C. Superior court in the areas of investigative accounting, business valuation, accounting and taxation. Walter also has extensive experience in taxation and financial planning.

Walter is a past President of the Capital Area Chapter of the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) and is a past chairman of the MACPA Professional Ethics and Estate and Gift Tax Committees. He has also served as the Treasurer and Council Chairman for Section Three of the Village of Chevy Chase. Walter is a member of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club and is a past President of the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland and received his Masters degree in taxation from Southeastern University. Walter is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
