EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS:

Barbara Ames has over eighteen years of experience providing income tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses. She is highly skilled in helping people minimize their personal and business tax burdens.

Her specialization includes business and individual income tax planning and taxation of nonprofit organizations. She is the author of numerous articles on income tax and planning issues and is a frequent speaker on current tax developments, estate tax planning and special interest issues.

Barbara has extensive experience in representation before the Internal Revenue Service and other agency audits. She has worked with the Internal Revenue Service in negotiating numerous successful offers-in-compromise and other tax workout plans. Her experience in the tax arena also includes private placement memorandums, business forecasting, and corporate organizational planning.
