Timothy J. Gibbons, CPA, CVA
Tim has 27 years of professional experience. His areas of practice include managing audits of commercial and nonprofit organizations, performing valuations of privately-owned businesses, consulting with business owners on operations and succession planning, and providing tax and estate planning assistance to business owners and high income individuals.
Tim graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, and has an MBA from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies.
Tim is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the West Virginia Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He is a past president of the Charleston Chapter of the West Virginia Society of CPAs and the Rotary Club of Charleston, and has served on the boards of the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce, West Virginia Symphony, United Way of Kanawha Valley, and the Boy Scouts of America--Buckskin Council.
Stephen E. Kawash, CPA
Steve has 27 years of professional experience. He has extensive tax and estate planning experience with high income individuals. In addition, he has assisted owners of closely held family businesses with tax planning, valuation, acquisitions and mergers, and succession planning.
Steve graduated from Morris Harvey College with a bachelors degree in business administration, and obtained an MBA from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies.
Steve is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the West Virginia Society of CPAs, and the Charleston Chapter of the West Virginia Society of CPAs. Steve serves on the board of The Clay Center, is past president of the Charleston Exchange Club, is treasurer of Edgewood Country Club and has served on the boards of the Kanawha-Charleston Soccer Foundation and the Kanawha Players.
Robert R. Denyer, CPA
Bob has 29 years of professional experience handling complex financial reporting, accounting, and auditing matters for clients in the banking, manufacturing, distribution service, healthcare, nonprofit, and governmental industries. He also has extensive experience with business, financial, and tax planning for businesses and individuals.
Bob graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Bob is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the West Virginia Society of CPAs, and the Charleston Chapter of the West Virginia Society of CPAs. He is a member and past president of the South Charleston Rotary Club, and a member of the South Charleston Chamber of Commerce.
Valerie R. Ellis, CPA
Valerie has 20 years of professional experience. Valerie has directed audits of many closely held businesses, and consulted with business owners on matters ranging from tax planning to operational issues and internal control. Valerie also has extensive experience serving nonprofit organizations, including colleges and universities.
Valerie graduated from Marshall University with a bachelors degree in business administration.
Valerie is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the West Virginia Society of CPAs, where she has served as chair of various project groups. She is also a member and treasurer of the Rotary Club of Charleston.
Anthony D. Rager, CPA
Tony specializes in tax planning and compliance for privately-owned businesses and their owners. Tony serves clients in a number of specialized industries including oil and gas, construction, and law firms, medical practices and other professional services. His experience includes assisting clients with evaluating choice of business entity, and developing tax strategies for addressing particular transactions.
Tony is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, The West Virginia Society of CPAs, and the Charleston Chapter of the West Virginia Society of CPAs. He is an active member of the Federal Taxation project group of the West Virginia Society of CPAs. Tony is also an active member and past president of the Charleston Optimist Club.
Tony graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in economics.
