Experienced Tax Professional

Successful CPA firm seeking an experienced tax professional with a focus on client relations in an extremely fast paced environment.

Specifically, the ideal candidate should be someone with an expertise in accounting and taxation to provide compliance and consulting services to our business and individual clients. The candidate must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of our clients' tax needs.

Our tax professionals are offered day-to-day management of accounts while delivering all tax consulting services to the client and bringing in firm specialists when necessary. The primary responsibilities would be to oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries; participate in engagements requiring tax analysis and planning for a variety of entities and their affiliates; research and analyze a wide range of tax issues.

Tax reviewers also supervise assignments prepared by the professional staff accountants. They are responsible for the development and motivation of our existing professional staff to provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance.

The ideal candidate should be mature, confident, polished, articulate, poised, professional and able to handle very confidential matters under pressure. Must be a self starter during the slower times and keep up during the tax season with intense volume and time deadlines.

Qualified applicants should possess:

• At least 5 years of public accounting experience
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong organization and computer skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA license required

We are currently seeking a professional to join our audit team.

Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years recent public accounting experience
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Candidate must be self motivated with excellent technical skills and a commitment to high professional standards.
• Organized, efficient, confident, and possess interpersonal skills.

Qualified candidates must be able to plan and perform audits, reviews and compilations on non-public businesses. They must also be able to prepare financial statements, footnotes, and accountant's reports on engagements, supervise audit staff on certain engagements, and apply GAAP to financial statement issues.

The Responsibilities of the Audit Department Include:

• Audit, Review and Full-Disclosure Compilations for our non-public clients.
• Oversee Non-Disclosure Compilations and/or accounting review for various monthly, quarterly, and annually prepared financial statements for tax clients.
• Act as liaison between client and tax department.
