Just because you work with numbers doesn't mean you have to be one.

At GCM we're recognized for helping our clients develop and implement effective, innovative business and personal financial plans. But although our knowledge is built on numbers, our strength is in our people.

In over sixty years of existence, we've nurtured strong relationships with our clients- businesses and individuals who keep returning to us- and referring their colleagues to us, year after year after year. They're the real reason we're here, and the reason we're growing.

Together, we create a friendly, future-oriented, professional working environment built on a diversity of knowledge that's second to none.

Generating Ideas. Shaping solutions. Seizing opportunities. That's GCM.

why gcm?

We'll put it this way: The fastest growing segment in our nation is small to medium-sized businesses.

We should know. We're part of that fastest growing segment ourselves. Steadily moving forward for the past half century, GCM has experienced growth exceeding our expectations.

Our smaller size allows us to do and provide the things other firms can't. Whether we're performing an audit, analyzing a company's market value, preparing tax returns or providing retirement plan services, we take our clients from start to finish. We don't just offer plans to our clients, we help implement them.

The people who make up our teams come to GCM because they want to make a greater impact working with private businesses. They come here because they want a more complete engagement with clients and their business; they want to develop positive relationships with their clients and provide innovative, end-to-end business solutions.

What's more, our people know that both the diversity of our partners' specializations and the breadth of experience at GCM gives them the latitude to pursue specialty interests. They come to GCM because they want to enjoy the benefits of working in a friendly atmosphere that engenders teamwork.

And they stay with GCM because they know we're invested in their progress, providing a springboard for promotions and advancement. If you're looking to seize opportunities and move ahead, we invite you to grow with GCM.

lifestyle

At GCM we deal with similar challenges and issues as a Big 4 firm on the scale of a smaller, more personal company. A company with a friendly working environment where we not only know each other, we truly appreciate each other's talents. The positive work climate carries on into the after hours, which sometimes include formal and informal social gatherings. "Some of my best friends work here," our CPAs tell us.

Whether you live and work in the Burlington or Greensboro area, you'll find yourself in one of the premier locales in North Carolina. Situated in the center of the state, Burlington and Greensboro enjoy close proximity to the mountains, beaches, and metropolitan areas.

"Many of our employees were impressed by our firm first, but soon came to fall in love with the geographical areas after living and working here. Burlington is a charming small town with all the benefits that surrounding cities like Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill offer. It's the Triangle area minus the traffic!"

Even as it swells in size and opportunity, Greensboro remains true to its name: a friendly, beautiful green city lush with parks, lakes, and plenty of reasons to get outdoors. With a revitalized downtown area and festivities at several area colleges and universities, there's plenty to do both in Greensboro and neighboring Winston-Salem.
