We are currently seeking the fill the following positions:

Tax Manager

• Job Qualifications:
  
• Ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in the tax practice area of public accounting and be a CPA licensed in Texas.
• Experience in Partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, Estate and Trusts, and Individual tax preparation and planning.
• Future ownership is available to the right candidate.
• Salary is commensurate with experience.

Staff Auditor

• Job Responsibilities:
  The ideal candidate will have up to one year of experience in a similar position with a public accounting firm and be a CPA in good standing or a CPA candidate. Must have current knowledge of GAAP and GAAS. Salary commensurate with experience plus benefits.
• Job Qualifications:
  The ideal candidate must be a recent Masters graduate or up to one year of experience in a public accounting firm or comparable environment performing the duties described above including the ability to analyze and adjust general ledger accounts.
  

Audit Intern

We are interviewing candidates for the position of audit intern for the upcoming spring semester (2009). The position would involve the following:

• Assisting with audit fieldwork and testing
• Application of GAAP to real world situations
• Assisting with the planning stages of the audit
• Interacting with clients in order to efficiently and effectively execute the audit fieldwork

We are interested in students who have the following qualifications:

• At least a junior in college, preferably in a master's program
• Strong communications skills
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles
• Ability to work independently
• The desire to pursue a career in public accounting

The position would require the student to devote 20 (average) hours per week from January through the end of April.
