Melissa Davis, CPA, CFE, is a native of Texarkana, Arkansas and received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University - Texarkana. Melissa joined Grier, Reeves & Lawley, P.C., in July of 1995. She earned her Certified Fraud Examiner certification in October 2007.
Melissa's areas of concentration are small business accounting systems, fraud detection and prevention, employee benefit plans, medical practices, wholesalers and construction contractors. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPAs, the Texarkana Chapter of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Melissa and her husband, Scott, have three children, Drew, Matt, and Ashley. They are active members of Trinity Baptist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas, where Melissa volunteers in several children's programs.
