Guinn, Swiggum, Gille & Vinopal, LLP has been providing tax and accounting services to Western Wisconsin for over 30 years. We support a rigorous continuing professional education plan for each of our staff members as well as development of new services through college level and AICPA coursework. Bradley E. Guinn, General Partner, specializes in business planning including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and preparation. He also specializes in income taxes for farmers and self-employed individuals. Keith A. Swiggum, CPA, Retired Partner, has worked in accounting for 35 years, holds a CPA license in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and is a member of the AICPA and WICPA. He is an active member of the New Richmond Rotary, Enjoys fishing, hunting and restoring antique tractors when he isn't playing with his grandchildren. Cathy A. Gille, General Partner, specializes in estate and trust planning and taxation, small business formation and taxation, individual taxation, agriculture accounting and taxation, and quickbooks accounting. Is the treasurer for the Arnell Memorial Humane Society and a Polk County 4-H leader. Cathy is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Minnesota and is a member of the AICPA, MNCPA and Wisconsin Association of Accountants. Joe Vinopal, Jr., General Partner, specializes in individual and small business tax planning and preparation. Has been practicing accounting since 1972. Joe is the Clerk for the Village of Almena, on the board of directors with the Cumberland Memorial Hospital and the Almena Business Development Corporation. Enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, golf and boating. Jason Zahradka, CPA, Managing Partner works with business start ups, tax planning and preparation, and performs audit and review services. Enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and daughters. Jason is a licensed CPA in the state of Wisconsin and is a member of the AICPA and WICPA. Barbara Waalen, Office Manager and Staff Accountant, keeps everyone in the office under control. Started working in accounting in 1984 doing data entry and is now preparing tax returns, payroll, and financial statement compilations. Enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs, horseback riding, water activities, golfing, skiing, four wheeling and snowmobiling. Andrea Kier, Staff Accountant, maintains and updates depreciation schedules, prepares payroll, financial statement compilations, tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations. She also provides quickbook services. Outside of the office she is the Miss Heritage Chairperson, the financial secretary for her church, is raising three sons, enjoys bike riding, cross stitch and golfing. Jessica Keopple, CPA, Staff Accountant, prepares tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. She assists with audit and review services and prepares financial statement compilations. Jessi also provides payroll processing and quickbooks assistance for several clients. Jessi is a licensed CPA in Wisconsin and Minnesota. She is ready to tackle any accounting problem you have! Enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, playing darts and downhill skiing. Georgeann Litzell, Staff Accountant, prepares tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. GeorgeAnn also provides payroll processing and quickbooks assistance for several clients. Outside of the office, she enjoys riding motorcycle, traveling and spending time with her sons. Brian Fouks, CPA, Staff Accountant, specializing in delinquent return filings. Worked for the IRS as an auditor for ten years before joining our firm in the fall of 1999. Brian is a licensed CPA in the state of Wisconsin. He works at the New Richmond office Tuesday through Friday and the Amery office on Monday. Julie Elmer, Staff Accountant, prepares tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Julie also provides payroll processing for several clients. Outside of the office she is on the St. Croix County Relay for Life Committee since 1994, a 4-H leader. She also enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her family. Barbara Fields, Staff Accountant, assists clients with quickbook services. She also prepares income tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnership. Ashley Morrissey, Secretary, works in the New Richmond office answering phones, scheduling appointments, typing correspondence, proofing income tax returns, and assisting with other duties around the office. Ashley enjoys camping and spending time with her family. Ruth Johnson, Bookkeeper, prepares our office payroll and financial statements. Helps out with financial statement compiling during tax season. Enjoys spending time with her grown children. Marjorie Grage, File Clerk, keeps track of all our client files, performs bookkeeping services for clients, proofreads many of our letters, enjoys playing with and babysitting for her new grandchildren. Vicki Vinopal, Secretary, yes, she is Joe's wife. She performs duties such as receptionist, delivery, banking, supply clerk, bookkeeping and payroll processing for clients, data entry and tax return assembly in the Almena office. Her hobbies include ceramics and crafts, hunting, fishing, traveling, and anything outdoors. She is a member of the Almena Community Women organization. Paula Nelson, Staff Accountant, compiles financial statements and prepares payroll for approximately 40 clients, assists with tax return preparation and data entry. Enjoys cross country skiing, running, biking and rebuilding old cabins with her husband. Darla Hubbard, Staff Accountant, manages approximately 60 clients with services ranging from monthly financial statement compilations and payroll, to accounts payable and receivable bookkeeping services. Has worked in accounting for over 20 years and is the treasurer for her township. Enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and baking. Charlotte Gillen, part-time secretary, assists with phones and document management services in the New Richmond office. She also helps with filing and typing.
