Tax Manager/Tax senior

We are seeking a tax manager and /or senior level tax professional who can provide technical support in our tax department for the partners as well as an individual who can help manage and mentor staff.   This is a great opportunity for the right individual who wants to be an impact player in our firm with opportunities for upward advancement.

Requirements:  

• CPA certification 
• Five to seven years minimum of professional level tax experience in public accounting preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to research complex tax situations
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and filing requirements

Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor less experienced staff members
Preparation and review of partnership, corporate and individual tax returns
Communicating with clients and partners on various tax planning strategies
Tax research

Staff Accountant

Requirements:

• General Knowledge of Accounting Procedures and Processes
• Knowledge of how to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates. Communicate effectively with both clients and firm personnel
• Possess knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Interact well with others in a team environment, as well as being able to work independently

Qualifications:

• Requires BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university
• Must be a CPA or CPA candidate
• 0 - 3 years of experience
• Computer proficiency required
