Byron joined Johanson & Yau in 1983 as a tax manager after 5 years at a local firm. He graduated from Santa Clara University in 1978 and has a masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.

Byron specializes in tax services to individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts. He became a partner in 2002.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council.
