Position
and job function overview
This
position will work with our small business clients, especially medical, dental
and other professional offices, on tax and accounting assignments that fit in
the skill range of the paraprofessional.
Competency Requirements (knowledge,
skills, abilities)
Must possess a basic understanding of all
accounting functions with the traditional business operating cycle
Proficient with MS Office: Word and Excel
Ability to learn and utilize accounting software

ACCOUNTING\BOOKKEEPING SUPPORT
TAX PLANNING AND PREPARATION - these type of returns are prepared
year round

annual payroll reports that include W-2’s

Three
years minimum full cycle bookkeeping experience

High
school diploma, GED or equivalent skills preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regular predictable attendance is an
essential function of this position.
At times, the position requires meeting tight deadlines and working in
excess of 40 hours per week. In
addition, the position requires occasional travel through the firm’s
market area. All physical demands
are within normal limits of an inside office position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Firm provides a pleasant office
environment in an indoor, non-smoking facility. Normal office safety precautions have
