Kent received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from California State University, Fresno.

Kent is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Jensen has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Tulare Chamber of Commerce where he was also a graduate of the Leadership Tulare Program and served as the Chairperson of the Leadership Tulare steering committee for three years. He is in his second term on the Board of Directors of the International Agri-Center, the producer of World Ag Expo, where he currently serves as Treasurer. He has served as both President and Treasurer of the Tulare Baseball Association, is currently a member of the Tulare Kiwanis Club, where he serves as club Treasurer, and is President of the Garden School Parent Teacher Organization.

Kent joined M. Green and Company LLP in 1981 upon graduation from college, was promoted to a Manager in the firm in 1989 and became a Partner in the firm in January 1993.
In addition to preparing tax returns and performing tax planning services for individuals and all types of business entities, he also prepares financial statements and performs audits in the areas of farming, pension plans, manufacturing companies, special districts and water companies, and construction companies.

Kent and his wife, Susane, were both raised and attended school in the Tulare area. They have two children, Connor and Chase. His interests include involvement in activities with his children both at the athletic and social levels. He has coached Little League Baseball for fourteen years and wishes he could spend more time on the golf course.
