Career Opportunities at M. Green and Company LLP

Professional Staff
We are continuously seeking exceptional students and experienced accounting
professionals for our firm. Since our inception, we have believed in providing our
professional staff with a broad range of client experience and continuing education
in order for them to develop the multitude of skills expected of them in today’s
complex and rapidly changing business environment. Our professional staff are all
CPAs or CPA candidates and we encourage and provide assistance to them in
attaining this important designation. Staff work directly with our partners, which we
believe provides a mentoring and perspective which enhances the professional
development experience.

Paraprofessionals
We also have a highly qualified paraprofessional staff and are always looking for
intelligent men and women seeking this type of career path or those experienced
in bookkeeping, payroll, computer or similar skills. We have a diverse client base
which provides challenging and interesting work, as well as training and exposure
to additional accounting skills, adding to your career development.

Support Staff
While the professionals and paraprofessional provide the technical support to the
firm, the support staff bring it all together. Our practical, conscientious, experienced
support staff provides the reception, word processing and general office support
which enables us to process and communicate with our clients in a professional
manner. To fill this key role, we look for top individuals with career potential and
related experience.

Firm Culture
Over the last decade or so, people seeking career positions with businesses have
become more conscientious of what has become know as the “culture” or personality
of the particular firm before making a career commitment. We believe our core values,
policies, physical facilities and, most importantly, people, make up a firm which is a
pleasure to work for. They also provide the stability that has kept us in business for
over 50 years. We are proud to be considered a great place to work and continue to
listen to our staff and partners as to how we can make it even better. Besides an “open
door” policy with our partners, we ask all our staff to provide annual “wish lists” of
ideas or requests that will help them, the overall firm or our clients in any number of
ways.

Compensation and Benefits
We provide competitive compensation along with mandatory reviews. Our benefit package is extensive, including medical, life and disability insurance, a Section 125 cafeteria plan, 401(k) retirement plan, sick pay and paid vacations. We also provide various other benefits and expense reimbursements.

Work/Life Balance
We understand that to excel in your career, you need a balance between your work life
and your personal life. We strive to help you maintain that balance by being sensitive
and flexible with respect to your family, health and other needs. Our flexible work
schedules and firm philosophies seek to allow career professionals and other staff the
ablility to meet their needs both inside and outside the office. We also encourage our
people to become involved in quality-of-life activities in their community, church or
other areas and support them in this regard.

Our Central Valley Location
If you are not from the Central Valley of California, we encourage you to check out the
lifestyle here. Our offices are in small, progressive rural cities with excellent schools
and a variety of cultural, recreational and community activities. Housing and cost-of- living are among the lowest in the nation. Our location also allows easy access to the mountains, beaches and, within a few hours drive, Los Angeles or San Francisco.
