STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Masters, Smith & Wisby, P.A. is an established, medium-sized and growing CPA firm in Jacksonville, FL and we are seeking a career minded, entry level Staff Accountant with less than 1 year of experience.  Our client base is comprised of companies from various industries, and individuals.  We are dedicated to providing the best management, accounting, tax, strategic planning, and financial advisory services available to small and medium sized businesses and their owners.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a GPA of at least 3.0
• A CPA designation or be seeking CPA certification
• A knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn other computer applications
• The ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Effective and persuasive communication skills across communication settings
• Clear and effective speech habits in a variety of settings
• Effective writing using various styles to address different needs and audiences
• Attentive and active listening skills
• An understanding of the importance of collaborative/team effort
• The drive to acquire new skills and constantly improve efficiency
