BUSINESS SERVICES STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Pender Newkirk & Company’s Business Services Department is seeking a Business Services Staff Accountant.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Client service write-up and coordination of tax compliance
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of write up experience.
- BS degree in accounting
- Excellent technical accounting skills including preparation of compiled financial statements
- Strong software skills (proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks is required)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- A positive team player attitude
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to travel on a regular basis to local clients
