EDUCATION

Tony received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nevada Reno.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Tony is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Nevada and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Taxation division of the AICPA and is also a Financial Planner. Tony also is licensed to practice as an agent before the Nevada Gaming Commission and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

PROFESSIONAL AND CIVIC ACTIVITIES

Tony served on the Board of Directors for the NSCPA and has also served as President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer for the NENV Chapter of the NSCPA. He is presently a Trustee of the Elko Golf Foundation Scholarship Fund and a member of the Finance Committee of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

EXPERIENCE AND AREAS OF PRACTICE

Mr. Aguirre's extensive tax experience began in 1980 at Read & Powell, LLP. His tax practice concentrates on complex individual and business tax planning issues and tax controversy issues such as audits and divorce and he frequently works closely with attorneys on these matters. Tony's professional experience includes working with businesses and individuals in industries such as farming, ranching, construction, and gaming. He also advises clients regarding financial planning and related investment advisory services.

PERSONAL

Tony is a native Nevadan and enjoys golf, fishing and coaching Youth Soccer. He resides in Elko with his wife Pam and their daughter, Felicia.
