Frank H. Simonton, Jr. is the managing partner in the Houston-based accounting firm of Simonton & Kuta, L.L.P.  In addition to guiding the day-to-day operations of the firm, Mr. Simonton is an authority on taxation issues and litigation support.  He entered the profession of public accounting in 1967 and during the past thirty three years has developed particular expertise with the clients in oil and gas, real estate, medical services, shipping, distribution, retail and wholesale operations.

Licensed to practice law, Mr. Simonton brings unique experience to the integration of accounting practices in support of litigation.  His work for law firms has included numerous business and family law cases, where he provided business and estate valuations, fraud auditing, hidden asset searches, loss profits projections, as well as other accounting and tax-related services.

Mr. Simonton has spent the past thirty three years practicing in the field of income taxation and estate planning.  His income tax practice includes individuals, corporations, partnerships as well as trusts and estates.  Mr. Simonton has also practiced in the area of financial and estate planning, investments, insurance, retirement plans, wills, trusts and related subjects.

Mr. Simonton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from McNeese State University and a Juris Doctorate in law from Louisiana State University.  He is a member of the Texas, Louisiana and American Bar Associations, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPAs and the Louisiana Society of CPAs.  He is also a Certified Financial Specialist.
