OUR CLIENTS
Swart, Lalande & Associates, P.C. and its employees recognize the
importance of maintaining secure and confidential personal financial information
that we receive and maintain about our clients. While information is the
cornerstone of our ability to offer excellent service, our most important
asset is our clients trust. This notice provides you, our client,
with our privacy policies and practices with respect to the disclosure
of nonpublic information about you. Nonpublic personal information means
personally identifiable financial information that is not publicly available.

May Collect
In providing you with financial products or services, we collect nonpublic
personal information about you from the following sources:

receive from you verbally, or on applications, tax return preparation
worksheets, company financial statements or other information in providing
accounting, tax or consulting services
- Information about
your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others;
- Information we
receive from a consumer-reporting agency.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients
or former clients to anyone, except as required by law. This may include
disclosure as necessary to process transactions, including disclosure
with consumer consent, to protect against fraud, to attorneys, to a consumer-reporting
agency, in connection with a sale or merger, to respond to a subpoena
or court order. Our firm is regulated by standards set forth by the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants Code of Professional Conduct,
which provides that a CPA in public practice shall not disclose confidential
client information without the specific consent of the client.
Our Security Practices
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our clients
to those employees who need to know that information to provide products
or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards
that comply with federal regulation to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Former Clients
Even if you are no longer a Swart, Lalande & Associates, P.C. client,
our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you.
Further Information
The 1999 Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act contains provisions that are intended
to protect the privacy of very broadly defined financial services, including
tax planning, financial planning, and tax return preparation. Under this
Act, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued regulations that require
us to provide a summary of our privacy policy once each year. You may
