The competition for property tax consulting services is diverse in practice but narrow in reality. Many of the institutional real estate concerns are accustomed to acquiring the services of the Big Five accounting firms due to their financial reporting requirements and available resources which are required for audit and federal income tax purposes - not property tax. Such alliances come with a stiff price tag in the form of high billing rates and declining satisfaction with the professional expertise assigned to the day to day property tax account responsibilities. This phenomenon is allowing Strategis the opportunity to provide niche property tax and real estate consulting to institutional clientele. Many of the large privately owned, mid size and smaller real estate operators are more selective in their alliances. Accordingly, this class of clientele will exert more scrutiny into their decision process. These types of competitive situations offer the best opportunity to Strategis. Our target clientele will include the following business categories: - Developers, Opportunity Funds and owner operators of commercial property
- Homebuilders
- Land developers
- Property management companies
- Apartment developers and operators
- Real estate investors
- High net worth individuals
