We are a local CPA and Consulting Firm, with offices in Clarksburg, West Virginia. We currently have four Member-Owners. All of our Members-Owners joined the Firm right out of college. We consider all new hires as investments in our future, and impress on them that their success equates our success. Participation in Firm ownership is open to all who make the grade.
New Associates work directly with Member-Owners and other senior staff. They immediately begin a personalized training program with hands-on responsibilities. They join a team of professionals with the heads-up advantage of experience, client knowledge and clear direction. They are given the opportunity to demonstrate their individual skills, with the ability to ask questions and develop with only self-imposed limitations.
Our Firm has a structured advancement program. Various levels of staff range from Associate through several Senior and Manager positions to the Principal and Member-Owner levels. Although each position has its unique criteria, compounding job functions and overlapping responsibilities are a norm.
At Tetrick & Bartlett, our professionals develop into versatile Accountants. The "CPA" designation is earned from all angles. All of our professional staff, at the right time, do taxes, accounting and auditing, consulting, and most of the other things people expect accountants to do. At the same time, we try to concentrate and specialize in various fields of experience to provide the best service available to our clients.
Don't expect to get bored at Tetrick & Bartlett. A quality, diversified client base, full spectrum of service offerings with an expected blend of travel all join together to form an environment exciting and satisfying to most professionals. Daily routines are unpredictable, but certainly manageable with acquired planning techniques. Staff learn to "roll with the punches" and adapt quickly with proper supervision.
Your education never ends at Tetrick & Bartlett. Aside from the daily on-the-job training, all professionals receive a minimum of 40 hours continuing professional education yearly. In-house programs, professionally sponsored seminars outside the office and other opportunities are scheduled for the optimum development of our people. All CPE is provided at the Firm's expense.
The CPA exam is an essential part of our profession. Although we have positions available for those who are not certified, staff may advance only to a certain level without passing the exam. The Firm grants its staff time off to sit for the exam with no affect on compensation or vacations or other allotted time off.
Tetrick & Bartlett offers a complete benefit package, including a competitive salary, group health insurance, group life insurance, 401K plan with employer matching contributions, profit sharing in conjunction with 401K plan, normal holidays, two weeks paid vacation after one year, cafeteria plan, employer provided parking, paid time off for taking CPA exam, bonus for passing the CPA exam, and reimbursed dues to professional organizations and licensing agencies.

We equip our staff with state of the art laptop computers and a multitude of software with which to perform their jobs.
