William Vasquez is the Firm's partner responsible for firm administration, including the implementation and organization of business goals and systems enhancement. Mr. Vasquez, an attorney and an accountant, also serves as President of two real estate investment companies. With a background in real estate, bankruptcy law, accounting and auditing, Mr. Vasquez has developed a career reflecting substantive understanding of issues affecting business development and success.
As an attorney, Mr. Vasquez specialized in bankruptcy law. Prior to Vasquez & Company LLP, Mr. Vasquez worked at the bankruptcy law firm of Danning, Gill, Diamond & Kollitz.
As an accountant, Mr. Vasquez has extensive audit experience, and has developed particular expertise in the areas of pension plan auditing and investment and actuarial analysis. At Transamerica Life Companies, during the period of 1991 through 1993, he managed audits related to life insurance and annuity subsidiaries. From 1991 through 1998, Mr. Vasquez was involved in the performance of specialized services such as fraud audits and SEC audits at Ernst & Young. There, he serviced clients in a variety of industries including non-profit, manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance and aerospace.
Mr. Vasquez received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1997 from the University of California at Los Angeles where he was a participant in the prestigious Moot Court. In 1989, he passed the CPA examination. Mr. Vasquez received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Business from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he was on the Dean's Honor list and was a member of the Freshman Honor Society.
